At Alma Viva Dance Studio, we create spaces where individuals of all ages, can seamlessly connect with the synergy of music and dance, fostering a sense of accomplishment, joy, and self-confidence in a safe environment. Through creative expression in a socially harmonious setting, we aspire to ignite a lifelong passion for dance, crafting moments that resonate with the heart and soul of our students.

Our kids’ classes follow a structured and progressive curriculum designed especially for young dancers. Each week, children can see their progress while developing focus, coordination, and creativity in a fun, supportive, and non-competitive environment. Beyond learning to dance, they also explore Spanish culture, music, and even a few Spanish words along the way! Our goal is to help every child build confidence, self-esteem, and a strong, happy mind — all while enjoying the magic of movement and sharing their achievements in our joyful end-of-year show.

Our adult classes offer a space to reconnect with yourself, unwind from daily routines, and embrace the beauty of movement. Rooted in the cultural richness of Flamenco, Spanish Dance, and Latin styles, each class follows a structured yet welcoming approach where progress feels natural and rewarding. Whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or rediscovering a past passion, you’ll find a supportive, non-competitive community that celebrates every step of your journey. Our students also have the opportunity to perform in our end-of-year show — a joyful and fulfilling moment to share your achievements with family and friends. Here, dance becomes more than exercise — it’s self-expression, joy, and connection through rhythm and culture.

Daniela Crestani is the founder and artistic director of Alma Viva Dance Studio. Originally from Valencia, Venezuela, she began dancing at the age of five and spent over 15 years immersed in Ballet, Flamenco, Spanish Dance, Tap and Jazz building a strong foundation through a variety of schools and programs.
While training in classical and traditional forms, Daniela was also deeply shaped by the vibrant Latin social dance culture of Venezuela—where Salsa, merengue and bachata, and other styles are woven into the rhythm of everyday life. These dances weren’t just something she learned—they were lived, felt, and celebrated as part of her cultural identity.
She later refined her flamenco technique at the renowned Centro de Arte Flamenco y Danza Española Amor de Dios in Madrid, Spain. Over the years, she has performed in Venezuela, the United States, and Canada, but her greatest fulfillment comes from sharing her love of dance with others.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Daniela is known for her ability to create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to express themselves through movement.
A deep believer in the healing power of dance, Daniela has experienced firsthand how movement can be a powerful tool to release stress, manage anxiety, and even overcome physical pain. Dance has been—and continues to be—her medicine, her way to reconnect with herself, process emotions, and find joy even in the most challenging times.
She brings this same passion and purpose to everything she does, inviting others not just to learn steps, but to experience dance as a source of strength, transformation, and connection.
