Daniela Crestani is the founder and artistic director of Alma Viva Dance Studio. Originally from Valencia, Venezuela, she began dancing at the age of five and spent over 15 years immersed in Ballet, Flamenco, Spanish Dance, Tap and Jazz building a strong foundation through a variety of schools and programs.
While training in classical and traditional forms, Daniela was also deeply shaped by the vibrant Latin social dance culture of Venezuela—where salsa, merengue and bachata, and other styles are woven into the rhythm of everyday life. These dances weren’t just something she learned—they were lived, felt, and celebrated as part of her cultural identity.
She later refined her flamenco technique at the renowned Centro de Arte Flamenco y Danza Española Amor de Dios in Madrid, Spain. Over the years, she has performed in Venezuela, the United States, and Canada, but her greatest fulfillment comes from sharing her love of dance with others.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Daniela is known for her ability to create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to express themselves through movement.
A deep believer in the healing power of dance, Daniela has experienced firsthand how movement can be a powerful tool to release stress, manage anxiety, and even overcome physical pain. Dance has been—and continues to be—her medicine, her way to reconnect with herself, process emotions, and find joy even in the most challenging times.
She brings this same passion and purpose to everything she does, inviting others not just to learn steps, but to experience dance as a source of strength, transformation, and connection.

Yessica Ascorve is a Mexican Flamenco artist and teacher whose life has been deeply shaped by her passion for dance and her desire to share it with others.
Her journey began at a young age through Mexican folkloric dance, and she discovered Flamenco as a teenager. What started as a new artistic path soon became a lifelong passion. Through years of training, performing, teaching, and creating, Yessica has dedicated more than 25 years to sharing Flamenco with new generations.
Her artistic journey has taken her from Mexico to Spain, where she continued her Flamenco training in Granada and Jerez de la Frontera, deepening her understanding of both the technique and the spirit behind the art form. Along the way, she has performed with Flamenco ensembles, founded and directed her own Flamenco school, and taught students of different ages and levels.
For Yessica, teaching is about much more than learning steps. She believes dance can be a way to build confidence, discipline, connection, and self-expression. Her patience, empathy, organization, and respect allow her to create a space where students feel comfortable learning while also being encouraged to challenge themselves and grow.
Flamenco has been an important part of Yessica's life for more than three decades, and she brings that experience, passion, and love for the art into every class.
Since becoming part of Alma Viva Dance Studio, Yessica has brought her experience and warm teaching style to our community. She is passionate about helping students discover the beauty of Flamenco while creating their own connection with the dance.
